This line of wine glasses is designed to focus and intensify the bouquet of any wine you pour. So if you're pouring an exceptional bottle of wine with a great bouquet, you will enjoy every nuance and the many layers of aromas present in the wine. However, this is is a double-edge sword because if the wine contains flaws such as excessive alcohol, Brettanomyces (caused by a yeast, desirable in small quantities but hints of barnyard or sweaty animals when overly expressed - not pleasant!), or oxidation, they will be made even more apparent. Save these for more special tastings. Oh, and they make very thoughtful gifts for any wine enthusiasts...
